The Russell County Middle School Baseball team won big at Hart County yesterday, defeating the Raiders 15-0 in 4 innings.
Ben Bell led the team with 2 hits and 3 runs batted. Brantley Turner also drove in a pair of runs for the Lakers.
Lane Sprague picked up the win pitching, giving up just 3 hits and striking out 5.
The middle school softball team fell at Taylor County 10-0.
Hallie Knight and Lillian Davis recorded hits for the Lady Lakers.
