Wayne Curry, 76, of Somerset, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Jean Waddle Cancer Center. 
Survivors include:
Wife — Rita Anderson Curry
Three sons — Mark Curry, Kyle Anderson Curry and Wesley Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. CST Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Royville Friendship Church with burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call for visitation after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, until time for services at 3:00 p.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Wayne to Royville Friendship Church or to Gideon’s International for bible placement. These can be left at the church or at the funeral home.
The Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs is in charge of arrangements.
