Today is the final day to pay for county property owners to pay their property taxes before they are turned over to the county clerk’s office.
Property taxes can be paid at the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. today to accept payments.
Property taxes can be paid by credit card, check or cash. Credit card payments will include a small fee.
