A Russell Springs man was arrested on a felony assault charge after an incident near the intersection of Main Street and Short Street yesterday.
Russell Springs Police and Kentucky State Police were called out yesterday a little before 5 p.m. to a report that a man had been struck with a handgun.
22-year-old Bryson Mann was arrested and charged with assault second degree and disorderly conduct second degree.
Russell Springs Police say the male victim sustained a head injury and was transported to the Russell County Hospital Emergency Room, where he was treated and released.
Mann was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. Russell Springs Police is in charge of the investigation.
