The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team defeated Meece Middle School 19-1 yesterday.

Aspen Stearns hit a home run in the victory, driving in 3 runs. Hallie Knight and Molly Clark each drove in 2 runs.

Lillian Davis picked up the win pitching, giving up just 1 run on 1 hit and struck out 7 batters.
