Early-Morning Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Trafficking Charge

A Russell Springs man was arrested on drug trafficking charges following an early-morning traffic stop Tuesday.

According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, 60-year-old Arnet Irvin was arrested around 3 a.m. by Deputy Stone Bolin.

Irvin was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s department reports approximately four grams of suspected methamphetamine was seized during the investigation.

Irvin was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
