The Laker Baseball team dropped both games of a Saturday doubleheader.
The Lakers fell to Southwestern by a score of 9-6.
Tanner Stringer led Russell County with 2 hits and 2 runs batted in. Ben Kemp, Mason Jasper, and Alden Brumley recorded a hit and RBI each.
In the second game, the Lakers fell 9-3 to Oak Hill High School from Cincinnati.
Stringer led Russell County again in that one with 2 hits. Riley Taylor drove in 2 runs for the Lakers. Walker Stephens finished with a hit and RBI.
The Lakers are back in action this evening, going on the road for a district matchup with Metcalfe County.
