A Pulaski County man is accused of setting his wife on fire during an altercation at the couple’s residence earlier this month.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 36-year-old Timothy Lewis and his wife got into an altercation that allegedly began over his wife using a vape.
Authorities say Timothy Lewis took the vape from his wife and attempted to set it on fire with a lighter, and during the altercation, Lewis allegedly caught his wife’s hair on fire. This resulted in Mrs. Lewis suffering burn injuries to her face, neck and head.
Pulaski County authorities arrested Timothy Lewis on Monday. He was charged with assault first degree – domestic violence and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center but bonded out on a $25,000 bond the same day according to the sheriff’s office.
