Officials in Pulaski County say a man was found dead inside a camper that had lost power during the winter storm.
The man was identified as 62-year-old James L. Phillips. He was reportedly found dead inside a camper trailer in the Bend of the Lakes Shore area Tuesday morning.
The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office said the temperature inside the camper was 9 degrees when Phillips was found. Crews reportedly had to move downed trees to reach the camper and the camper had reportedly lost power when the winter storm hit over the weekend.
The governor’s office has reported 10 deaths across the state linked to the winter storm.
