Adair County Schools released a statement late last night, saying there was a reported threat against the school district, but that threat was determined to be unsubstantiated.
The statement was released a little before 10:30 last night. Adair County Schools Superintendent Jason Faulkner said school and local law enforcement officials conducted a thorough investigation of a potential threat, but determined there was no credible danger to the school district.
Faulkner said the investigation determined the schools were safe and encouraged parents and the community to always report any potential threats.
