A magnitude 3.1 earthquake occurred in Garrard County yesterday near Lancaster, and the shaking could be felt by some in Russell and surrounding counties.
Some residents near the Windsor area around the Russell-Casey County line reported feeling the earthquake. There were also reports of the earthquake being felt in Pulaski and Cumberland counties, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake happened at around 11:45 a.m. yesterday.
No damage was reported from the earthquake.
