School district calendar committee to meet Thursday

The Russell County School District Calendar Committee will meet tomorrow.

The calendar committee will meet at 3:30 tomorrow in the room above the pool at the Russell County ANC.

The committee will review state requirements regarding school calendar planning and discuss plans for the 2026-2027 school calendar.

This committee includes representatives from multiple areas, including parents, school board members, principals, teachers, classified district employees, and two community members.
