A Casey County man was recently indicted on more than 80 felony charges related to sex crimes against two minors spanning the course of five years.
Luis F. Aparicio Silva, age 48, was indicted on 20 counts of rape first degree, 20 counts of sodomy first degree and 40 counts of unlawful transaction with a minor first degree. Silva was also indicted on two counts of rape first degree with a second victim and two more counts of unlawful transaction with a minor first degree.
From June 2020 to July 2025, the indictment alleges Silva raped a girl who was between the ages of 12 and 17 at the time.
According to the indictment, Silva raped another girl in a time span between July 2021 and July 2025.
Silva remains lodged in the Casey County Jail.
