School board hears updates on construction projects

The Russell County School District has several ongoing construction projects.

At last night’s school board meeting, the board heard from Branscum Construction about the ongoing field house, bus garage, and band practice area projects.

Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford told WJRS News things are progressing well on each of the projects.

The district’s new bus garage will be located near Russell Springs Elementary. The band practice area will be located where the old tennis courts are on the high school/middle school campus.
