The Lady Laker Soccer team picked up a win at home over the Warren East Lady Raiders last night by a score of 2-1.
The Lady Raiders scored the first goal, but Addison Coffey scored a goal to tie the game and Madison Weisbrodt scored a goal on a penalty kick that ended up securing the Russell County win.
The Lady Lakers combined for 19 saves. Jasmine Bennett had 10 and Liz Evans had 9.
The JV team won 3-0. Makenzie Bennett, Mailee Cooper, and Mykaela Bevans each scored a goal. Andrea Hernandez had 13 saves in the shutout.
The Laker Soccer team went on the road to face Foundation Christian Academy in Bowling Green. The Lakers fell to the Falcons by a score of 4-0.
The Lakers return to action tomorrow, hosting Wayne County at 5:00.
The Lady Lakers are off until Monday when they host Clinton County.
