A Jamestown man was arrested over the weekend by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
19-year-old Irvin Herd was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, and wanton endangerment of a police officer.
Herd was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 5 a.m. Saturday.
