The Russell Springs Fire Department was called out to a structure fire Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called out just before 4 p.m. Friday to the structure fire on D Wilson Road off Bottom Road. Records show the property belongs to Delvin Wilson.
Once on scene, firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control. 10 firefighters responded to the structure fire.
The structure sustained significant damage, but reports are family and neighbors were able to safely remove some valuable property from the structure before it could sustain damage.
