The Russell Springs Dairy Queen location is helping to make a major impact for children with serious medical needs.
The Russell Springs Dairy Queen has raised more than $8,000 for the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network.
Dan Cheshire, the franchisee for the local Dairy Queen, was a guest on Talk Around Town on WJRS, where he spoke more on the initiative and thanked the community for its generosity.
Cheshire said around 3,000 children from Russell and other nearby counties receive care at UK Children’s Hospital each year.
