An Adair County woman was arrested on charges including burglary and assault of a police officer over the weekend.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Vickie Lee Maynard Friday night. She was charged with burglary first degree, assault third degree – police officer, disorderly conduct first degree, resisting arrest, and public intoxication of a controlled substance.
Maynard was arrested by Deputy Devin Blakey with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 8:15 Friday night.
