Russell County Search & Rescue members were able to locate a missing woman near the Eli community yesterday.
Just after midnight yesterday, a 68-year-old woman reportedly walked away from her home in the Eli community.
The woman’s husband searched for her, but called dispatch at around 8 o’clock yesterday morning. About 30 minutes later, search and rescue team members were on scene, and the woman was located within two hours.
Search and Rescue officials say the woman was uninjured and returned home safely.
