Three people were flown out following a two-vehicle wreck yesterday afternoon.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of Highway 80 and Owenstown Road in Russell Springs yesterday afternoon just before 4 o’clock.
Russell Springs Police say a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer operated by 32-year-old Bobbie Jo Stargle of Russell Springs collided with a 2013 Chevy Cruze operated by 73-year-old Phillip George, also of Russell Springs.
Initial reports indicated only a 14-year-old passenger in Stargle’s vehicle was flown from the scene. However, later in the night, Phillip George and 75-year-old Linda George were also flown to another hospital after first being taken to Russell County Hospital.
Russell Springs Police say Stargle and two other children in the vehicle were treated on scene.
The accident is under investigation by Russell Springs Police.
