The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center at the Russell County Courthouse aims to assist those impacted by the tornado a little over two weeks ago.
Daniel Bernardy, spokesperson with FEMA, said the disaster recovery center serves as a one-stop shop for people in need of assistance.
The Disaster Recovery Center is located downstairs at the Russell County Courthouse. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bernardy advises anyone visiting the center to bring their ID, a utility bill or some other proof of address, and direct deposit information.
