RCMS Softball easily defeats Campbellsville, on the road at Adair tonight

The Russell County Middle School Softball team easily defeated Campbellsville on Friday by a score of 15-0.

The Lady Lakers were led by Kinsley Wilson and Molly Clark, who each finished the day with 3 hits and 2 RBI.

Raelyn Warriner, Kerigan Aaron, and Hallie Knight each finished with 2 hits. Warriner and Aaron each drove in 2 runs.

Lillian Davis picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle, pitching a 5-inning shutout while giving up just 3 hits and striking out 4 batters.

The Lady Lakers are back in action this evening, going on the road to Adair County. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
