Addison Hart pitched a one-hit shutout and the Lady Laker bats exploded as Russell County Softball picked up a 13-0 win on the road at Lincoln County last night.
Hart gave up just one hit over five innings and struck out 9 batters in the pitcher’s circle.
At the plate, several Lady Lakers had big performances.
Rylen McGowan hit her 2nd home run in 4 games as part of a 3-hit performance. Camdin Cooper finished with a team-high 4 hits including two doubles.
Nevaeh Duncan and Mallie McQueary each finished with a pair of hits. McQueary and Miley Rankins each drove in a team-high 3 runs while Cooper and McGowan each drove in 2.
The Lady Lakers will be at home tomorrow, hosting Southwestern. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30.
