Gosser, Loy named to Region All-Tournament team

Russell County’s Mayes Gosser and Owen Loy were named to the 4th Region All-Tournament team.

Gosser and Loy were selected by head coaches from the 8 teams that made it to the region tournament. Only 15 players received this honor.

Gosser scored a combined 36 points in two region tournament games. Loy scored a combined 35 points in the two games.

The All-Region team will be recognized at tonight’s region championship game. However, Gosser and Loy will be on the baseball field, as Russell County takes on Adair County.
