Deputy Stone Bolin graduates from training academy

Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Stone Bolin is one of 39 law enforcement officers that graduated from the basic training academy this week.

The graduates of Class 555 received more than 800 hours of recruit-level instruction over 20 weeks.

Bolin is a Russell County native. He joined the sheriff’s office as a deputy last June.
