Russell Springs woman indicted in 2022 on child abuse charge arrested

A Russell Springs woman who was indicted nearly two-and-a-half years ago on a child abuse charge was arrested yesterday.

Russell Springs Police arrested 50-year-old Gloria A. Floyd yesterday afternoon. Floyd was indicted in September 2022 by a Russell County grand jury on a charge of criminal abuse first degree involving a child 12 or under.

Floyd was arrested by Officer Brenton Llane with Russell Springs Police. She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon.
