Man arrested after transporting Pulaski County child across state lines

A Jackson County man was arrested after he reportedly transported a Pulaski County child to West Virginia.

Pulaski County deputies were called out early Tuesday morning to a residence in Nancy following a call that a child was missing from the residence.

An investigation revealed the child was picked up by an individual identified as 47-year-old Michael Moon.

The investigation led by the Pulaski County Criminal Investigation Division led to the child being found safe and returned to their family.

Moon was arrested and charged with custodial interference and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Officials say more charges could be coming.

He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
