Update on Taylor County death investigation

Authorities in nearby Taylor County have released an update on a recent death investigation.

Last week, authorities discovered the body of a male outside of a burned car on Gaddis Ridge Road east of Campbellsville.

The Taylor County Coroner’s Office identified the individual as a 17-year-old from Oldham County.

The cause of death has not yet been finalized, according to authorities.

The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
