Casey man arrested on rape, incest charges

A Casey County man was arrested over the weekend on rape and incest charges involving an underage victim.

57-year-old Johnny Mondie was arrested by the Casey County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday. He’s charged with rape third degree and sodomy first degree. He’s also charged with incest and unlawful transaction with a minor – illegal sex act with a person under 16 years old.

Mondie remains lodged in the Casey County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
