Local closings for Presidents Day

Some local offices will be closed Monday due to the Presidents Day holiday.

Russell County Schools will be closed Monday for the holiday. Schools will return to regular schedule on Tuesday.

The Russell County Board of Education will not meet Monday. The board will meet the following Monday, February 24 at 5 p.m.

Local post offices will be closed Monday for the holiday. There will also be no mail delivery on Monday.

Several local banks will also close for the holiday.
