Two Louisville residents were arrested in Pulaski County this week after police officers executed a search warrant at a home in Science Hill and found them trying to burn methamphetamine in a wood burning stove.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 43-year-old Thomas Soble and 33-year-old Sarah Anne Morris were arrested at the residence.
Soble is charged with receiving a stolen firearm, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and enhanced first-degree possession of methamphetamine—first offense.
Morris was charged with tampering with physical evidence and first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine—first offense.
Officers say the two tried to destroy drugs and other paraphernalia by starting a fire in the stove when officers arrived to execute a search warrant. Officers found a handgun at the residence that was reportedly stolen from Jefferson County.
The two were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
