How does Russell County compare to area schools on last year’s state assessments?

The Kentucky Department of Education recently launched its Kentucky School Report Card examining data from last year’s state assessment.

Schools are given one of five color ratings. Red is the lowest rating given to a school, followed by orange, yellow, green, then blue.

Russell County received a green rating for elementary school and high school, and a yellow rating for middle school.

Wayne County received orange ratings across the board, Adair County received yellow ratings at each level and Pulaski County received green ratings across the board.

Casey County received green ratings at the elementary and high school level, and orange at middle school.

Clinton County received yellow ratings at the middle and high school level, and orange at elementary school.

Cumberland County received green ratings at the middle and high school level, and yellow at elementary.
