Last week, the Kentucky House of Representatives passed House Bill 1, which would lower the state income tax from 4 percent to 3.5 percent.
Representative Josh Branscum, a co-sponsor of the bill, was on Community Conversations on WJRS this week to discuss the bill.
The bill is expected to be heard in the Senate when lawmakers return to session on February 4.
