Yesterday on local news, we reported how Kentucky lawmakers are considering a statewide policy on cell phones in schools.
Some schools have already implemented policies, like Russell County High School.
Principal Shanna Tarter said the school’s policy that requires phones to be put up for the entire school day has been positive for both students and teachers.
The policy was put in place over the summer by the school’s site-based council with overwhelming support from the school’s teachers.
