With the Russell County Hospital Board of Directors in the beginning stages of planning a renovation/expansion project, hospital leaders hope possible tax credits will lower the cost of the project.
The hospital board discussed these possible tax credits during a special-called meeting Tuesday afternoon. WJRS News caught up with Russell County Hospital CEO Scott Thompson to talk about the hospital’s approach.
The hospital also approved an architect firm at this week’s meeting for the project.
