The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife released a statement to WJRS News about the discovery of a body at Fishing Creek on Lake Cumberland last week.
Fish and Wildlife say the body belonged to a 28-year-old man from Pulaski County, but did not release the identity of the deceased.
Fish and Wildlife officials say the body was found near the boat ramp at Fishing Creek last Wednesday evening just before 5:30 central time.
The body was sent on to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s office in Frankfort for an autopsy. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is handling the ongoing investigation.
