The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department is set to collect donations for the WHAS Crusade for Children this weekend.
Volunteers will be set up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the intersection of Highway 127 and Highway 80 in Russell Springs collecting donations.
This will be the 53rd year the fire department has been involved in collecting donations.
The WHAS Crusade for Children raises funds for agencies, schools, and hospitals, all with the shared goal of improving the lives of children with special needs.
Last year, the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department collected more than $11,000.
