The Catch a Rainbow Fishing Derby at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery returns next month.
The popular children’s fishing derby is back on Saturday, June 3rd for its 35th edition. The derby made a return one year ago after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is free for children up to age 15. Typically, the fishing derby brings between 3,000 and 4,000 people to the fish hatchery.
