Lakers shutout Dragons on the road

The Russell County Lakers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 9-0 win on the road at Green County Monday.

Evan Hammond picked up the win on the mound with Cody Luttrell coming in to finish off the game and pick up the save.

With the win, the Lakers move to 5-1 on the season and will now prepare to head to Myrtle Beach for multiple games in the Cal Ripken Experience.
