Heavy rainfall hit Russell County yesterday, and some radar estimated northern Russell County and southern Casey County received about 4 inches of rainfall.

While Russell County received heavy amounts of rain, major storm systems seem to have avoided the county.
Wayne County went under severe thunderstorm warnings last night and Lincoln County was under a tornado warning yesterday evening.
