RCHS Boys Bowling opens season against Taylor County

The Mighty Laker Bowling team opened its season at home on Saturday, hosting the Taylor Co Cardinals.

The Laker Boys defeated Taylor County 7 games to 0.

High scores for the boys were Zack Kean – 256 ; Jared Melson – 254 ; Jason Womack – 252 ; Chris Smith 247 ; and Nick Blakey – 234.

The Lady Lakers bowled well but came up short losing 6 games to 1.

High Scores for the girls were Ryleigh Withers – 157 and Makayla Melson – 146.

The Laker Bowling team’s next match will be this Saturday as they host the Green County Dragons.
