Two young ladies from Russell County earned impressive finishes while competing in state pageants this past weekend.
Aylee Brockman of Jamestown was named among the Top 15 contestants at the Kentucky State Pre-Teen Pageant, finishing in the top group out of 78 contestants from across the Commonwealth.
Raelyn Wariner of Russell Springs also earned a Top 15 finish in the Kentucky State Teen Pageant.
Both young ladies competed against county fair pageant winners from throughout Kentucky, making their accomplishments even more impressive.
Warriner represented Allen County in the state competition, while Brockman represented Green County.

Aylee is the daughter of Brian and Lindsey Brockman. Raelyn is the daughter of Destany McFarland and Dustin Warriner.
