School board approves three-percent raise across the board for certified, classified staff

The Russell County Board of Education approved a three-percent across-the-board raise for certified and classified staff at yesterday morning’s board meeting.

Superintendent Michael Ford spoke with WJRS News and noted the district has provided a combined 13 percent pay increase over the last three years.

The board unanimously approved the raises.
