Russell Springs will receive about $52,000 in state road aid money

The City of Russell Springs will receive about $52,000 in road aid money from the state.

The Russell Springs City Council approved a resolution last night to accept the municipal road aid funds. These funds are used for road maintenance within the city.

Mayor Eddie Thomas said the funding is down a little from last year, but expects it to increase next year.
