John Daniel Haley, age 78, of Jamestown

 John Daniel Haley, 78, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, May 15th, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Kentucky.

John was born April 20, 1948 in Auburn, New York he later moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1965 attended Northmont High School and met Joann. He attended the University of Cincinnati where he recieved a Engineering degree was a Professional Engineer, Surveyor, was manager principal of LJB Engineering employed by Keller Foundations.

He retired in Jamestown, Kentucky in 2008 and worked on the Wolf Creek Dam project for 6 years. He attended Russell Springs First Baptist Church. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and an avid boater who loved Lake Cumberland.

John is  survived by

his wife of 56 years, Joann (Sexton) Haley, of Jamestown, KY.

a son, John D. Haley, Jr. (Lauren), of Ft. Mitchell, KY.

He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Johnny and Emma Haley

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Andrea Stuart.

Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM (CT) on Friday, May 29th at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown,, KY with Dr. Christian Naylor officiating.

 

Public Visitation will be held 11:00 AM (CT) on Friday, May 29th at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown,, KY.
