The Russell County Industrial Development Authority is among 16 recipients of the latest round of funding from the Kentucky Product Development Initiative.
Russell County IDA will receive over $1.2 million in state funding for the project, which includes the planned purchase of around 68 acres near the Lake Cumberland Industrial Complex.
The Kentucky Product Development Initiative provides funding for local communities to boost investment in site and building upgrades to support future, well-paying jobs and economic growth across the commonwealth.
