The Lady Laker Softball team defeated Middlesboro in Fort Walton yesterday by a score of 15-3.
The Lady Lakers opened things up early, scoring 11 runs in the first inning and finishing with 17 hits on the day.
Brylie Hardwick finished with a team-high 3 hits and 3 runs batted in. Rylen McGowan hit a home run and a triple, driving in 3 runs as well. Paisley Eads and Miley Rankins each finished with 2 hits and 2 RBI.
The Lady Lakers are back in action on Friday, taking on Henry County.
The Laker Baseball team will return to action today, hosting Whitley County.
That game gets underway at David Rexroat Field at 6:00 this evening.
