Tennessee woman who was subject of Silver Alert found safe in Columbia

A Tennessee woman who was the subject of a Silver Alert was found safe in Columbia over the weekend.

Columbia Police say they performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Highway 55 at around 7:00 Friday evening.

The driver was identified as 85-year-old Joan Allman of Lebanon, Tennessee. Allman had been reported missing earlier in the day and a silver alert was issued by authorities in Tennessee.

Allman was transported to TJ Health Columbia to be evaluated, and her family was notified that she was found safe.
