A little less than a year ago, the Russell County Board of Education voted in favor of bringing back the children’s theater program.
The program disbanded with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic along with cuts in funding, but now, about 10 months since the board of education approved to bring it back, the children’s theater is preparing for its first community performance later this week.
Hannah England, one of the directors of the program, recently shared more details on Community Conversation on WJRS.
The community performance will take place this Thursday at 6:00 with doors opening at 5 at the Russell County Auditorium.
